Qualifications

• Approximately 4+ years' experience in Australian public practice.
• CA/CPA qualified or studying.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
• A motivated, proactive and hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for companies, individuals, partnerships, trusts, SMSFs
• Preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT returns
• Identification and resolution of complex issues including Div7A, FBT, PSI and CGT
• Assist with preparation of budgets, cashflows and CFO services to larger groups
• Tax planning and preparing advice on small business concessions, effective structures, asset protection and tax minimisation strategies

Firm:

My client is a boutique Chartered Accounting firm in Sydney's CBD seeking their next Light Senior Accountant as they look to grow their Business Advisory team. Their diverse client base spans SMEs, HNW family groups, SMSFs and international subsidiaries in industries ranging from construction, FMCG, manufacturing, professional services, medical, and logistics.

Role:

Reporting to the Partner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality advisory and compliance services, including:

• Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for companies, individuals, partnerships, trusts, SMSFs


• Preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT returns


• Identification and resolution of complex issues including Div7A, FBT, PSI and CGT


• Assist with preparation of budgets, cashflows and CFO services to larger groups
