Job summary

International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP) is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. The role focuses on financial reporting, month-end close, compliance, and continuous process improvement within a dynamic, global environment.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across functions to provide financial insights, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure statutory and regulatory compliance while maintaining ledger integrity.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification required (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a similar role with strong financial reporting and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, collaborative approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports.
• Coordinate statutory reporting and external audits.
• Maintain general ledger integrity including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and tax balances.
• Manage cash flow reporting and forecasting activities.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights for decision making.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, systems, and controls.

Your new role

• Managing month-end and year-end close processes
• Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports
• Coordinating statutory reporting requirements and external audits
• Maintaining general ledger integrity, including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and tax-related balances
• Managing cash flow reporting and forecasting activities
