Job summary

PKF Melbourne, a full-service accounting firm with a long history since 1962 and part of the PKF network across 150 countries, seeks Senior Accountants for its Business Advisory Services team.

You will work with Supervisors, Managers and Partners to deliver quality financial and business advisory services to a diverse client base while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years' experience in public practice tax and business services.
• CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports/statements and supporting schedules.
• Prepare Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trust and partnerships.
• Assist with virtual CFO engagements and other advisory work.
• GST administration, including Business Activity Statements.
• Support junior staff and conduct financial studies as required.

Senior Accountant | Business Advisory Services

Join PKF Melbourne, a full-service accounting firm with a proud history dating back to 1962 and part of the global PKF network spanning 150 countries.

We are seeking several motivated Senior Accountants to join our Business Advisory Services team through a large growth phase. Working closely with Supervisors, Managers and Partners, you will play a key role in delivering quality financial and business advisory services to a diverse client base while supporting the development of junior team members.

About the Role

Key responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role are, but not limited to the following:

• Prepare financial reports/statements, and supporting schedules;
• Prepare Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trust and partnerships;
• Assist with virtual CFO engagements and other advisory work as required;
• Administer GST, including Business Activity Statements;
• Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required; and conduct studies and analysis of financial matters as required.

About You

• 3-4 years' experience in public practice tax and business services
• CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience using Xero, MYOB, Reckon (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office
• Ability to use initiative, work autonomously and meet deadlines
• Passionate about delivering quality outcomes and building strong client relationships
