Job description

This is a 3-month assignment, covering the finance function while the business reassesses its structure - with the potential to go permanent for the right person. It's a sole in-house role so perfect for someone who enjoys working autonomously, likes variety, and is confident managing the end-to-end function.

Key Responsibilities

• Month-end close and financial reporting
• Support with year-end prep and audit
• Oversee cashflow tracking and forecasting
• Support operational teams with project finance (budget tracking, productivity reports, accountability)
• Manage the outsourced bookkeeper (transactional & payroll)
• Partner with non-finance stakeholders to deliver insights and support

You'll Bring

• CA or CPA qualification
• Experience working in a small business or sole-charge role
• The ability to operate in ambiguity and hit the ground running
• Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
• Comfort working in a values-led, remote-first environment (onsite for handover in the first couple of weeks)
