Findex in Colac is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Business Advisory team. You will work on a dynamic portfolio of clients, preparing business advice, financial statements and tax returns, while ensuring compliance obligations are met.

You will liaise with providers and authorities and build strong client relationships. The role offers hybrid working arrangements and opportunities for professional development within a supportive team.

Competenze

• Strong experience in Business Advisory within public practice.
• CA or CPA qualification is required.
• Fringe Benefits Tax and Deferred Tax experience is ideal.

• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations and tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and a range of individual businesses
• Ensuring clients are made aware of their compliance obligations
• Liaising with various providers and statutory authorities on behalf of clients
• The ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients

What you bring to the role:

• Strong experience in Business Advisorywithin public practice
• CA or CPA qualification
• Fringe Benefits Tax and Deferred Tax - experience is ideal
• Strong Analytical Skills:A natural curiosity to understand client businesses and challenges, applying your expertise confidently.
• Proficient in Excel and cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB).
