Job summary

LOVELY Team in Brisbane, a boutique accounting firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growth-driven practice. You will prepare financial statements and tax returns, handle BAS/IAS, and contribute to advisory work while supporting a diverse client base up to $50 million in turnover.

You should be pursuing CA/CPA with strong knowledge of Australian tax, Div 7A, GST, CGT and FBT, plus Xero experience. Flexible work options and mentoring are offered.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing CA/CPA designation or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation.
  • Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns.
  • Experience preparing BAS, GST, FBT and PAYG returns.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an Australian public practice.
  • Experience with individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies.
  • Solid understanding of Div 7A, GST, CGT and FBT.
  • Experience using Xero.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns.
