Job summary

The Andersen Partnership in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager to take ownership of a client portfolio, providing in-depth tax & advisory services, and working with financial planners to deliver complete client solutions.

You will review complex financial statements, manage your workflow, and progress toward a Manager role in a supportive, relationship-driven firm.

Qualifications

• Experienced Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager with strong review skills.
• Solid technical accounting knowledge.
• Confident to lead client conversations.
• SMSF experience and knowledge of Australian tax rules is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review financial statements and tax returns, including complex cases.
• Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients and SMSF structures.
• Provide technical tax advice and build lasting client relationships.
• Collaborate with financial planners to deliver integrated advice.
• Manage your workflow with a clear path to Manager.

• SMSF experience and familiarity with Xero, BGL, ATOmate or Smartshare are advantageous.
