Job summary

Akcelo Sydney is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our fast-growing agency. You will support the account management team across key clients, nurture relationships, and ensure projects progress on budget and schedule while delivering top-quality work.

You will collaborate across Brand, Film, Digital, Social, Activations and PR, take ownership of briefs, drive feedback, lead WIP meetings and help grow client partnerships in a dynamic, flexible environment with strong learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Advertising agency experience (3–4+ years) in an account management role.
• Integrated experience across multiple capabilities within an agency.
• Self-starter, highly organized and delivery-focused.
• Curious and eager to learn across diverse capabilities (Brand, Film, Digital, Social, PR, CX).

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships internally, with clients and agency partners.
• Act as an expert in managing the creative process and deliver projects on budget and deadline.
• Be proactive in managing clients and internal teams, ensuring briefs are on time.
• Interrogate briefs and drive feedback for clear, successful outcomes.
• Lead WIP meetings and set timings to meet expectations.

Akcelo is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our Sydney team. You will be responsible for supporting the account management team across key clients to deliver exceptional client service!

• Building strong relationships internally, with clients, and agency partners – You are the go-to person across all parts of the creative process
• Acting as an expert in managing the creative process and consistently deliver projects to budget, deadline and the highest quality
• Being proactive and agile when managing the clients and internal teams, you ensure briefs come on time and the relevant resources are lined up
• Interrogating briefs and driving feedback to ensure clarity and that the agency is set up for success
• Being responsible for leading WIP meetings and set timings for projects, ensuring expectations are clear and met

To be in the running for this great role, you should have:

• Advertising agency experience (at least 3-4 years) in an Account Management role
• Ideally, strong integrated experience, but more importantly, be curious and excited to learn and be exposed to different capabilities within the agency (the work we do touches everything from Brand, Film, Digital, Social, Activations, PR, Retail, CX, Martech and customer lifecycle strategy)

• Self-starter mindset who loves to solve problems
• Buttoned down, highly organised, detail-oriented and takes pride in delivering all work to the highest standards

• The drive and hunger to learn and develop alongside the business and your team
• Passionate about great ideas, underpinned by commitment to delivery
