Job summary

TJM 4x4 in Perth is seeking a senior workshop team leader to guide a skilled team of fitters and ensure every job meets the TJM standard. You'll oversee lift kits, bull bars and custom builds, while setting the pace in quality and safety.

This hands-on leadership role emphasizes mentorship, ownership, and teamwork. Ongoing training, paid overtime, tool allowances, and staff discounts on TJM products are offered to support your continued excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a workshop leadership, senior fitter, or leading hand role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and/or vehicle accessory fitting skills.
• 12V electrical experience is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A hands-on approach with ownership and teamwork.
• Experience is essential; Motor Vehicle Repairer's Licence highly desirable.

Job description

In this hands-on leadership position, reporting to our Workshop Manager. You’ll be the driving force behind a skilled team of fitters, ensuring every job meets the top-tier TJM standard. From lift kits and bull bars to complex custom builds, you’ll be at the forefront of some of the most exciting 4x4 upgrades out there.

As a senior team member, you’ll not only lead by example in the workshop but also mentor and inspire your team to perform at their best. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who’s passionate about building both high-performance vehicles and high-performing teams.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a workshop leadership, senior fitter, or leading hand role

Strong mechanical knowledge and/or vehicle accessory fitting skills

12V electrical experience is highly advantageous

Excellent communication and leadership skills

A hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership and teamwork

Experience is essential, Motor Vehicle Repairer's License highly desirable.
