Job summary

Blenners Transport Pty Ltd seeks an experienced Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to join the team in Tully, Qld 4854. The role involves inspection, maintenance, repairs and installation of HVAC systems, plus electrical work and safety practices in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration trade.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work in dusty, noisy, and hazardous environments.
• Capable of working in confined spaces and hot conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair and install equipment including units, mounting gear and piping.
• Repair and routine maintenance of compressors, motors, condensers and evaporators.
• Test equipment operation and adjust as required to ensure proper performance.
• Repair or adjust piping connections, valves and fittings using rivets, bolts, welds, brazing and soldering with hand/power tools.
• Order replacement parts, perform repairs and keep servicing records.
