Job summary

Brunel Australia near Dubbo seeks a Quality Control Associate to support seed quality testing across crops and contribute to research and commercial seed production. You will operate across laboratory operations and a state-of-the-art pilot line, analysing data and providing critical information to production teams.

The role combines hands-on testing with documentation and process improvements, ensuring ISTA guideline compliance and robust lab records in a dynamic agricultural setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 2 years QC experience.
• Understanding of laboratory procedures.
• Experience with Office 365 and ERP systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in a research-focused environment.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct seed quality testing across crops.
• Plan and execute pilot-line testing projects.
• Prepare, process, label and store seed samples.
• Collect, analyse and report test data to support production decisions.
• Support research and seed testing programs focused on product improvement and breeding.
• Maintain laboratory records, databases and reports.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions and technical documentation.
