Job summary

SEME Solutions in Mackay, Queensland, is seeking a Security Technician to join a dynamic team. You will install, commission and service electronic security systems across CCTV/IP surveillance and access control, leading projects from first fix to handover.

A professional, client-focused on-site role with independent site management will be expected, including maintenance for existing clients and contributing to major projects. Relocation assistance may be available for the right applicant.

Qualifications

• Current Queensland Security Industry License - essential.
• Solid hands-on experience across commercial CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems.
• Practical knowledge of Gallagher, Integriti, Milestone or similar platforms.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites with clear communication.
• Comfortable handling complex commercial and critical infrastructure projects with strong documentation.

Responsibilities

• Installing, commissioning and servicing electronic security systems.
• Working across CCTV/IP surveillance and electronic access control.
• Leading installations from first fix through commissioning and client handover.
• Carrying out scheduled and reactive maintenance for existing clients.
• Identifying service, upgrade and new opportunity potential within existing accounts.
• Sharing knowledge with junior technicians as the team grows.
