Job summary

Core Talent is seeking a Senior Electronic Security Technician with strong commissioning experience in Sydney. This role focuses on taking systems from installation to commissioning, testing, integration and handover to clients.

You will program, troubleshoot and verify systems (access control, CCTV, alarms and intercoms), read technical drawings, and work independently on complex commercial projects while maintaining the highest quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as an Electronic Security Technician.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Electronic Security Technician with strong commissioning experience to join an established and growing electronic security business.
This is a commissioning-focused role and would suit a senior technician who enjoys taking ownership of projects, getting systems operational, resolving technical issues and ensuring everything is fully tested and handed over to the client.
Commissioning Is the KeyWe’re specifically looking for someone who has proven hands-on commissioning experience across electronic security systems.
You will be responsible for taking systems from installation through to:

• Programming and configuration
• Commissioning and system integration
• Testing and troubleshooting
• Fault-finding and rectification
• System verification and quality assurance
• Client demonstrations and handover
• Completion of commissioning and project documentation

You’ll be the person who makes sure the system is working correctly, meets the project requirements and is ready for handover.
About YouTo be successful, you’ll ideally have:

• Strong experience as an Electronic Security Technician
• Significant commissioning and programming experience

• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
