Job summary

Core Talent is seeking a Senior Electronic Security Technician with strong commissioning experience in New South Wales. This role focuses on taking systems from installation through programming, commissioning, testing and handover to clients.

You will own projects, resolve issues, and ensure systems are handed over fully tested and operational. The ideal candidate has proven hands-on commissioning experience across electronic security, with strong fault-finding and client-facing skills.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Electronic Security Technician with strong commissioning experience to join an established and growing electronic security business. This is a commissioning-focused role and would suit a senior technician who enjoys taking ownership of projects, getting systems operational, resolving technical issues and ensuring everything is fully tested and handed over to the client. Commissioning Is the KeyWe’re specifically looking for someone who has proven hands-on commissioning experience across electronic security systems. You will be responsible for taking systems from installation through to:

• Programming and configuration
• Commissioning and system integration
• Testing and troubleshooting
• Fault-finding and rectification
• System verification and quality assurance

• Completion of commissioning and project documentation

The Opportunity

You’ll be the person who makes sure the system is working correctly, meets the project requirements and is ready for handover.

About You

• Strong experience as an Electronic Security Technician
• Significant commissioning and programming experience
• Experience with access control, CCTV, alarms and intercom systems
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
• Experience working on commercial and/or complex security projects
• Confidence dealing with clients, project managers and other trades
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of your work
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• A professional approach and strong communication skills
