Job summary

APA Group in Sydney seeks an experienced Program Manager - Security to lead the coordination and delivery of APA’s security uplift program, supporting compliance, resilience and risk improvement across the business. You will work across Protective Security, Cyber Security, Enterprise Resilience and other stakeholder groups to strengthen organisational capability.

You will establish governance, reporting and assurance frameworks, manage risks and dependencies, and provide executive-ready papers

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading enterprise-wide security programs.
• Knowledge of Security of Critical Infrastructure (SoCI) Act.
• Ability to translate strategy into practical delivery plans.
• Strong communication with executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and governance of the security uplift program.
• Coordinate activities across protective security, cyber security, resilience and assurance.
• Develop and manage an integrated program roadmap with milestones and risks.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment on priorities and resources.
• Establish governance, assurance and reporting frameworks.
• Coordinate enterprise-wide assessments to identify capability gaps.
• Prepare executive papers and investment recommendations.
• Manage program risks, issues and dependencies; escalate material matters.
• Engage stakeholders and third-party partners to enable outcomes.
• Provide reporting and decision-support to senior leaders.
• Monitor progress across workstreams and ensure alignment with the roadmap.
• Track regulatory uplift obligations and evidence for compliance.
