Job summary

Kinetic IT in Perth CBD is seeking an experienced Security Operations Manager to lead Security Operations and Cyber Threat & Incident Response services on a five-day onsite basis with a major client in the CBD. You will drive service excellence, governance and incident management across a large enterprise environment.

You will partner with the Information Security Manager to govern vulnerability management, PKI, firewall and network security, and ensure performance against KPIs and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership in enterprise cyber security operations.
• Experience managing security services against KPIs, SLAs and governance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication with executive leadership.
• Ability to translate security risks into clear operational priorities and actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and performance of Security Operations and Cyber Threat & Incident Response services.
• Oversee security incident response, escalation management and stakeholder communications.
• Govern vulnerability management and remediation programs with the Information Security Manager.
• Drive Essential Eight Maturity Levels 1 and 2 compliance and governance activities.
• Oversee PKI activity, firewall and network security governance.
• Manage service performance against contractual KPIs and SLAs.
• Lead risk management, audit remediation and continual service improvement initiatives.
• Build relationships with customers, executives, suppliers and delivery partners.
• Provide executive-level reporting on cyber risk and security posture.
