Job summary

WA Country Health Service (WACHS) seeks a Security Service Manager to run day-to-day operations and guide risk management across the Wheatbelt/Goldfields regions from Perth. This permanent full-time role supports security policy development and investigations within a large rural health system.

You will provide expert security advice to executives, coordinate with regional teams, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements while travelling regionally as needed.

Position Profile:

Manages the day-to-day operations of the WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Security Service to ensure high-quality service delivery in compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements. Provides high-level technical advice to stakeholders, including the WACHS Executive, on security risk management, crime prevention, environmental design, and security investigations, and supports the development and implementation of WACHS security policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

This is a Permanent Full Time Appointment. The position is based in Perth managing the Wheatbelt/Goldfields regions of Western Australia.

The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is the largest country health system in Australia and one of the biggest in the world, providing health services to approximately half a million people, including 45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area. The organisation comprises seven regions, with a strong network of public hospitals, health services and health centres located across rural and remote Western Australia.
