Job summary

Gold Coast Health is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead the Protective Services Department, ensuring a secure environment across Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service facilities. You will oversee incident reporting, staff rostering, and development while advising on complex security matters.

The role requires a Queensland Security Licence (desirable), a Certificate II in Security Operations (desirable), and a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Certificate II in Security Operations required or desirable
• Queensland Security Licence desirable
• Driver's Licence required/desirable
• Vaccination status as required by policy
• Criminal History Screening will be required (cost covered)

Responsibilities

• Establish a leadership and management framework for quality security services
• Manage, analyse and interpret the security incident reporting system
• Provide specialist advice on complex security matters
• Manage subordinate staff across facilities including rostering, performance appraisal and development
