Job summary

Crown Resorts in Melbourne is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead the security operations of Crown Melbourne, ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment for guests and team members.

You will report to the Head of Security and partner with regulators, emergency services and contracted providers to maintain high safety and service standards while driving continuous improvement and staff development.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in large-scale security operations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams through dynamic situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of Crown Melbourne's security function, ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment for guests and team members.
• Drive operational excellence through effective leadership, workforce planning and performance management.
• Lead security risk management initiatives, identifying and mitigating potential threats across the business.
• Oversee emergency management preparedness, incident response and recovery programs.
• Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, regulators, emergency services and external security partners.
• Provide strategic advice and support on security operations, risk management and compliance matters.
• Lead, coach and develop security leaders and team members, fostering a high-performing and customer-focused culture.
• Monitor operational and financial performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery and resource allocation.
• Manage contracted security providers, ensuring service and resourcing requirements are achieved.
• Support the delivery of departmental strategies, business initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities.
