Job summary

FedEx is seeking an experienced security leader to own security operations across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the South Pacific Islands. You will drive investigations, risk management, and compliance programs while partnering with senior leaders to enable business performance.

The role requires managing a high-performing security team, coordinating with vendors and external partners, and frequent national and international travel to support operations.

Qualifications

• Security leadership experience in complex environments such as logistics, aviation, transport, or government.
• Proven track record leading investigations and risk management programs.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change.
• Strong leadership, coaching and team development capability.
• Excellent judgement, decision-making and stakeholder management skills.
• Balance commercial objectives with security and compliance requirements.
• Tertiary qualifications and security industry certifications are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead security operations across multiple locations, including regional security operations centre.
• Conduct and oversee complex investigations.
• Manage loss prevention and asset protection programs.
• Drive aviation, transport and operational security compliance.
• Manage security vendors, guarding services, and contracts.
• Support executive protection and travel security requirements.
• Develop security policies, procedures and best-practice programs.
• Build relationships with government agencies and industry partners.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team.
