Job summary

Bank Australia Limited is seeking a Security Operations Analyst to monitor, investigate and respond to security alerts and incidents. You will work with the Security Operations team and technology stakeholders to support day-to-day security operations and continuous improvement of security capabilities.

The role requires experience in information security and familiarity with security tools such as EDR, SIEM, PAM and DLP.

Qualifications

• Experience in information security or IT infrastructure.
• Exposure to security technologies such as EDR, SIEM, PAM, DLP.
• Understanding of security operations, incident investigation and response processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate and respond to security alerts and incidents.
• Support incident investigations, containment and remediation with internal teams and external security partners.
• Investigate and resolve security events and operational requests using established tools.
• Support security controls and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain incident records and contribute to security reporting.
• Assist with threat intelligence activities to identify emerging threats.
