Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Analyze realistic SOC scenarios — alerts, incidents, and investigations — to evaluate AI-generated responses.
  • Classify threat severity, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions.
  • Review and assess detection logic, triage workflows, and investigation steps for accuracy.
  • Validate AI outputs against real-world analyst behavior and industry best practices.
  • Provide structured feedback that directly improves how AI systems handle security events.
  • Help distinguish true threat signals from noise and false positives in AI-generated analysis.

Security Operations Analyst (AI Training)
About The Role

We're partnering with leading AI research labs to build the next generation of AI systems that reason through real-world security incidents. As a Security Operations Analyst, your hands-on SOC experience will directly shape how AI detects, investigates, and responds to threats - making enterprise AI smarter and more aligned with how analysts actually work.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your cybersecurity expertise beyond the traditional SOC environment and contribute to frontier AI development.

What You'll Do
  • Analyze realistic SOC scenarios — alerts, incidents, and investigations — to evaluate AI-generated responses
  • Classify threat severity, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions
  • Review and assess detection logic, triage workflows, and investigation steps for accuracy
  • Validate AI outputs against real-world analyst behavior and industry best practices
  • Provide structured feedback that directly improves how AI systems handle security events
  • Help distinguish true threat signals from noise and false positives in AI-generated analysis
Who You Are
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a SOC, incident response, or security operations role
  • Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage, and investigation workflows
  • Strong instincts for separating genuine threats from false positives and background noise
  • Able to communicate analytical reasoning clearly in writing
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
  • No prior AI experience required - your security expertise is what matters
Nice to Have
  • Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or malware analysis
  • Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or similar
  • Exposure to cloud security environments or EDR/XDR platforms
  • Background in writing detection rules or playbooks
