About the Role:
MSS Security is seeking professional and vigilant Security Officer - Protective Services to join our dedicated team at a critical infrastructure location - BlueScope Steel in Port Kembla, NSW 2505. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their situational awareness, can respond calmly under pressure, and are committed to delivering high standards of safety and site protection.
Working on a 4 on / 4 off roster, the role includes both day and night shifts, offering a structured schedule and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site access control and security screening
• Conducting regular patrols and responding to incidents
• Monitoring security systems, alarms, and CCTV
• Writing clear, detailed incident and shift reports
• Enforcing site procedures and managing emergency situations
• Maintaining a visible and professional security presence

What We're Looking For:

• Current NSW Security Licence (1A minimum)
• Advanced First Aid Certificate (HLTAID014 or equivalent)
• Full and unrestricted Driver's Licence
• Hold MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card) certificate or willing to obtain one
• High level of reliability, communication, and professionalism
• Availability for 4 on / 4 off roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
