Job summary

Millennium Services Group in Knox City, Vic, seeks a Retail Security Officer on a casual basis to help maintain a safe environment while delivering high standards of service. You will patrol, respond to incidents, and work closely with retailers and clients.

The role requires a valid Security Licence, First Aid/ CPR, and the ability to work day and night shifts across weekdays and weekends. Full Australian working rights and a reliable, detail-oriented approach are essential.

About the Role

As a Retail Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role involves a mix of patrols, incident response, and client-facing duties.

Positions available: Casual

Award Level: 2 - $36.55

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets
• Provide a professional and approachable security presence
• Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance
• Identify and assess risks, taking appropriate action in line with procedures
• Adhere to all site and company security protocols
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid Security Licence
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded)
• Availability to work day/night and weekday/weekend shifts
• Good physical fitness, as patrols are required
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures
