Job summary

Millennium Services Group in Knox City is seeking a professional Security Officer to join our team on a casual basis. You will patrol, respond to incidents, and provide a high standard of customer service across client sites.

The role requires a valid Security Licence, current First Aid and CPR, and the ability to work day/night shifts, including weekdays and weekends. Full Australian working rights are essential and reliability is a must.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Licence is required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Experience in security, retail experience is a bonus.
• Willingness to work day/night and weekday/weekend shifts.
• Physically fit and able to patrol sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols to ensure safety of people, property and assets.
• Provide a professional, approachable security presence on site.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies and requests for assistance.
• Identify risks and take action per procedures.
• Follow site and company security protocols and complete incident reports.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets
• Provide a professional and approachable security presence

• Adhere to all site and company security protocols
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid Security Licence

• Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded)
• Availability to work day/night and weekday/weekend shifts
• Good physical fitness, as patrols are required
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures
• Strong attention to detail
