Job summary

MSS Security is seeking a Casual Gatehouse Security Officer to join our Ballarat team. You will manage site access, greet visitors, and maintain accurate records to support the safe operation of the site.

Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, is required. A Victorian Security License, First Aid/CPR, and prior security experience are essential, along with a valid driver's license. Full Australian Working Rights are required.

Qualifications

• Full Australian Working Rights is required.
• Valid Victorian Security License is required.
• First Aid & CPR certification is required (or willingness to obtain).
• Driver's license is required.
• Ability to work a 24/7 rotational roster.
• Prior security experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional gatehouse and reception services by greeting visitors, and recording visitor details.
• Manage site access by checking gate passes and controlling personnel, vehicle, and asset entry.
• Complete accurate data entry and maintain visitor, vehicle, and contractor records.
• Support the safe and secure operation of the gatehouse by issuing keys and site forms, providing after-hours directions, and conducting routine safety inspections of the gatehouse and surrounding areas.
