Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Security Lead to define cloud security architecture and ensure compliance across cloud environments in Australia. The role emphasizes DevSecOps integration, security strategy, and collaboration with multiple teams to drive secure outcomes.

You will mentor staff, evaluate new security technologies, and contribute to ongoing improvements in security posture while aligning with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices by integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to design secure, scalable cloud architectures aligned with security and compliance standards.
  • Hands-on experience securing cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) including IAM, network security, and configurations.
  • Experience defining security requirements, threat analysis, and planning security controls during solution design.
  • Experience delivering or working with managed security services including monitoring, incident response, and continuous compliance.

We are seeking a new talent to join the our team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in an exciting project upcoming in Australia.

Responsibilities

As a Security Lead, you will be responsible for defining the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring it meets the business requirements and performance goals. You will document the implementation of the cloud security controls and support the transition to cloud security‑managed operations. You are expected to be a subject matter expert with deep knowledge and experience, possessing strong influencing and advisory skills. You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. Providing solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams is a critical part of this role. Advanced proficiency in DevSecOps is required. Advanced proficiency in Cloud Security Architecture is recommended. Advanced proficiency in Cloud Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security Planning, and Managed Cloud Security Services is suggested.

Requirements

  • Cloud Infrastructure Security: Hands‑on experience securing cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) including IAM, network security, and configurations.

  • Cloud Security Planning: Experience defining security requirements, conducting threat analysis, and planning security controls during solution design.

  • Managed Cloud Security Services: Experience delivering or working with managed security services including monitoring, incident response, and continuous compliance.
