Job summary

Perpetual Corporate Trust in Sydney is seeking a Securitisation Manager to lead a team within Trust Management and oversee complex securitisation transactions. You will develop the team, manage key client relationships and ensure contractual obligations and service standards are met.

You will work with senior Trust Management leaders on strategic initiatives, drive operational improvements and contribute to business growth while maintaining high governance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in securitisation, trust management or structured finance.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage complex client relationships.
• Strong Excel skills; VBA experience advantageous.

You will also personally manage a small portfolio of complex and high profile transactions, with a focus on meeting contractual obligations and delivering strong client service.You will build relationships across clients, investors and issuers, take the lead on complex issues and contribute to strategic initiatives, operational improvements and business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach and develop a team of Trust Management professionals, building accountability, collaboration and capabilityManage a portfolio of complex and high profile transactions, ensuring contractual obligations and service standards are metResolve complex client, transaction and operational issues as a key escalation pointBuild trusted relationships with clients, investors, issuers and other transaction stakeholdersPartner with senior Trust Management leaders on strategic initiatives and business prioritiesOversee resource planning, recruitment, performance management and team developmentReview key deliverables, controls and reporting while identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and client service.About youYou bring strong securitisation or structured finance experience, combined with proven people leadership and the confidence to manage complex client and stakeholder relationships.Ideally, you will have:At least five years’ experience in securitisation, trust management, structured finance or a related financial services environmentDemonstrated leadership experienceA relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related discipline, supported by a banking or treasury backgroundStrong client relationship skills and the ability to build credibility and influence senior stakeholdersExperience managing complex issues and competing priorities in a fast paced environmentStrong communication, stakeholder management, problem solving, judgement and decision making skillsIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skillsVBA experience would be advantageous.We love hearing from people who are inspired to shape the future with us.
