Securities Services - Operations - Business Manager

Join our Asia Pacific Securities Services Operations team as a Business Manager to drive strategic initiatives, optimize performance, and advise senior management in a dynamic, high-profile role.

As a Business Manager for our Asia Pacific Securities Services Operations team, you will promote strategic initiatives, optimize performance, and advise senior management in a dynamic, high-profile role. You will play a crucial role in optimizing business performance by promoting key initiatives and serving as a trusted advisor to Business and Group Heads. This position involves identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks, requiring adaptability to align with various business priorities. You will also coordinate the deployment of corporate resources to achieve strategic and tactical objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver operations business management services, including strategy tracking, business planning, and performance monitoring.
  • Communicate business strategy, performance, and priorities to stakeholders across departments such as Operations, Finance, HR, Tech, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Manage the department's financial performance, including expenses and allocations; identify and implement productivity initiatives.
  • Identify, escalate, and mitigate business risks, such as capacity issues and investment costs.
  • Organize and manage offsites, department reviews, town halls, and organizational communications.
  • Collaborate with business, operations, and technology teams to define future workflows and implement related technology and infrastructure projects.
  • Partner with external service and infrastructure providers.
  • Represent the business in internal and external working groups.
  • Support people engagement initiatives.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience in financial management, business management, or COO roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Securities Services.
  • Excellent presentation skills and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to create meaningful reports and proposals from financial data.
  • Ability to build positive relationships across different business lines.
  • Self-motivated, independent, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to define and execute strategic agendas across multiple groups.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience analyzing large data sets.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Knowledge of Global Markets and Payments Products is advantageous.
