The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) in Victoria is recruiting entry level casual Direct Care Workers to provide high quality care, supervision, security and support to vulnerable children and young people in Secure Care Services across two residential facilities in inner north-west metropolitan Melbourne.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, supervision, safety, security and personal support within established procedures and local practices.
• Support clients in their physical, intellectual, emotional and social development through individual and group activities.
• Assist in developing and following a daily structure, goals and life skills for children in care.
