Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) in Melbourne is seeking entry-level Direct Care Workers for ongoing casual roles in Secure Care Services across inner north-west metropolitan facilities. You will provide high-quality care, supervision and safety to vulnerable children and young people, helping to establish daily structures and life skills.

Formación

• Entry-level casual role in Secure Care Services across two residential facilities.
• Working with Children Check required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care, supervision, safety, security, and personal support services within established procedures and local work practices.
• Support clients in their physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development through individual and group work and structured recreational programs.
• Model appropriate behaviours and facilitate contact between clients and families, carers, and other service providers as appropriate.
• Assist in developing and following a daily structure and help clients achieve important goals and life skills.
