ESCA Group's JŌJI in Sydney’s CBD is seeking senior waiters to join a refined, high-end service team. The role offers varied shifts, a 5% service charge returned to the team, and live music and a dynamic atmosphere.

You’ll bring hospitality passion, at least 2 years in a similar role, impeccable presentation, and strong guest communication to deliver memorable experiences at a premier Japanese cocktail bar and restaurant.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year experience in a similar role.
• Exceptional communication skills, poised, articulate and professional.
• Immaculately presented with uncompromising standards.
• Experience in high-end or luxury service environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage.

Sydney’s newest venue, JŌJI has opened in the CBD. JŌJI is a stunning Japanese rooftop restaurant cocktail bar open late operating 7 days a week. We are hiring senior section waiters. We have a 5% Service Charge on all bills that goes back to the team, live music and most importantly plenty of hours to give with a wide range of shifts on offer to suit almost any availability.

Key Responsibilities Of a Section Waiter

• Provide exceptional service with confidence, poise, and attention to detail, setting a standard for the rest of the team
• Anticipate and fulfil the unexpressed wishes of our guests
• Collaborate seamlessly and work in harmony with our team to deliver flawless service and anticipate guests’ unexpressed wishes.

For Successful Candidates, They Must Have The Following Attributes

• Have a strong desire to create experiences for guests
• Passion for hospitality with an appreciation for refined, considered approach to service
• Exceptional communication skills, poised, articulate and capable of engaging with guests, co-workers and stakeholders with genuine warmth and professionalism
• Refined hospitality experience. Previous experience in a high-end or luxury service environment is preferred. Familiarity with fine dining or upscale cocktail bars is a significant advantage.
• Possess a positive attitude and grace under pressure
• Immaculately presented
• Uncompromising standards with an un unwavering attention to detail and a commitment to providing guests with an impeccable experience from the moment they arrive
• Hungry to learn and driven to excel in whatever they do
• Strong product knowledge of food and beverage
• Minimum 2-year experience in a similar role
