Andersen Partnership, a boutique Sydney CBD firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary/Paralegal to join the Wills & Estates Team. This role offers exposure to high-quality matters and a chance to work closely with senior practitioners in a collaborative, professional environment.

You will support 1–2 fee earners, manage client enquiries, draft and file documents, coordinate court filings, and handle invoicing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ legal secretarial/administrative experience (preferably in Wills & Estates).
  • Strong MS Office capability (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organisation and time management.
  • Professional presentation and communication; proactive and autonomous.

Responsibilities

  • Secretarial and administrative support across wills and estates matters.
  • Manage initial client enquiries and follow-ups.
  • Liaising with clients, external solicitors and courts.
  • Transcribing dictation accurately.
  • File management from opening to archiving.
  • Calendar management including court dates and deadlines.
  • Compiling exhibits and preparing briefs to counsel.
  • Formatting documents to firm style guidelines.
  • Preparing and lodging Court forms (including online filing).
  • Monthly invoicing and debtor reminders.
  • General document handling.

A boutique Sydney CBD firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary/Paralegal to join a highly regarded Wills & Estates Team.

Led by respected Partners recognised in Doyles Guide NSW (September 2026), this growing team offers the opportunity to work closely with senior practitioners, support quality client outcomes, and contribute to a collaborative, high‑performing environment.

The Opportunity

This role is primarily focused on Wills & Estates Litigation, with potential to assist on Estate Planning matters too.

You will support one to two fee earners and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing organised, proactive and professional administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secretarial + administrative support across litigation matters
  • Managing initial client enquiries and coordinating follow‑ups
  • Liaising with clients, barristers’ clerks, courts and external solicitors
  • Transcribing dictation accurately
  • File management from opening through to archiving
  • Calendar management, including court dates and deadline reminders
  • Compiling exhibits and preparing briefs to counsel

  • Preparing and lodging Court forms (including online filing)

  • Photocopying, scanning and general document handling
