Job summary

St Saviour’s College in Toowoomba is seeking a passionate Secondary Japanese Teacher. You will deliver engaging Japanese classes for years 7–12 and lead cultural activities that broaden student understanding. This role supports exchange and visiting student programs within a faith-based, inclusive community.

You may teach an additional subject, coordinate the two-year Japan study tour, and uphold Queensland registration requirements while helping girls achieve outstanding outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher in Queensland (must be registered or eligible).
• Experience delivering Senior Japanese syllabus and QCAA processes.
• Willingness to coordinate the International Study Tour to Japan every two years.
• Passionate about educating girls and achieving outstanding learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

St Saviour's College is seeking a passionate Secondary Japanese Teacher. Deliver enlivening Japanese classes to students across years 7-12.

Immerse students in Japanese culture through a range of co-curricular undertakings.

Work with established partnerships to continue exchange students and visiting student programs.

About You

The ability to teach in at least one additional subject area is desirable.

Experience delivering Senior Japanese syllabus and QCAA senior schooling processes.

Willingness to coordinate and take the International Study Tour to Japan (every two years).

Passionate about educating girls and committed to achieving outstanding learning outcomes.

Hold or be eligible to hold registration as a teacher in Queensland.
