Job summary

The Guyra Multi Purpose Service is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to join the Guyra Hunter New England Local Health District team. You will lead clinical education, strengthen nursing skills and evidence-based practice, and contribute to safe patient care.

In collaboration with Nurse Management and Clinical Nurse Consultants, you will design, deliver and evaluate education programs, provide orientation, and support ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current RN registration with AHPRA.
• Recent clinical experience, preferably in emergency or critical care.
• Passion for clinical education, mentoring and developing others.
• Ability to identify learning needs and deliver engaging, effective education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support nurses of all experience levels.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, evidence-based practice and high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical education, training and practical learning opportunities to build nursing skills and confidence.
• Mentor and support nursing staff through orientation, ongoing education and professional development.
