St Spyridon College in Sydney seeks an experienced TAS teacher to join the secondary team. The role focuses on delivering Visual Arts within the TAS Department, with potential to teach other TAS areas based on qualifications and needs.

You will contribute to engaging learning and help shape a supportive college community. Applicants must hold teaching qualifications, NSW NESA accreditation, WWCC, and full Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary teaching qualifications.
• Current NESA accreditation.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Demonstrated experience and/or capability in teaching Visual Arts in a secondary school environment.
• The ability and willingness to contribute across the broader TAS Department.
• Experience or qualifications in additional TAS subject areas will be highly regarded.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging Visual Arts lessons in line with NESA curriculum.
• Teach and support other TAS subjects where appropriate.
• Help students develop creative, practical, and critical thinking skills.
• Assess and report on student progress and performance.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, well-managed classroom environment.
• Collaborate with TAS Department members and College leadership.
• Contribute to faculty programs, projects, exhibitions and College activities.
• Support the Greek Orthodox ethos and values of the College.
