Job summary

Wyong Christian Community School invites applications for a qualified Secondary PDHPE Teacher to lead students in a biblically-based program and inspire them to reach their God-given potential. The role may include additional responsibilities related to sports coordination, commencing in Term 1, 2027.

We seek an enthusiastic educator with strong classroom practice, a commitment to faith-based education, and capacity to engage families and the broader school community.

Qualifications

• Be a practicing Christian with a personal belief in the school’s Statement of Faith; active church involvement.
• Demonstrate high classroom competency, proficiency and innovation.
• Sound curriculum knowledge from a biblical perspective.
• Exemplary teaching skills with Stage 4–6 knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to pedagogical advancement in the classroom.
• Strong skills supporting student wellbeing and managing discipline.
• Flexible and adaptable with strong administrative abilities.

• be committed to pedagogical advancement in their classroom;


• have strong skills supporting student wellbeing and managing student discipline;


• demonstrate strong administrative skills, with high flexibility and adaptability;


• a good understanding of Explicit Instruction would be an advantage.
