Job summary

Sunshine Coast Grammar School in Queensland is seeking a Teacher Aide for the Secondary Learning Enrichment team. The 1-year, part-time role (25 hours per week across 4 days) starts Term 1, 2027 and focuses on curriculum support and pastoral care.

You will work with students with learning differences in an inclusive setting, assist the delivery of AARA, and participate in the school’s extra-curricular program. The role aligns with the Christian ethos of the school.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with learning differences in a secondary setting.
• Ability to contribute to pastoral care within a school environment.
• Experience with inclusive education and learning support strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide curriculum support and small group assistance to students.
• Assist delivery of Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments (AARA).
• Support teaching staff with classroom activities and resources.
• Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular program as required.
• Support students' social and emotional wellbeing in a caring environment.
