Job summary

Saint Philomena School in Park Ridge, Queensland, seeks a Humanities teacher to cover Years 7-12 Ancient History on a 0.8 FTE basis, with duties across Tuesday to Thursday each week.

You will deliver engaging, rigorous History lessons, lead learning in QCE Ancient History, and contribute to curriculum, assessment and moderation aligned with Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Current registration with, or eligibility for registration with, the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
• Significant experience teaching Secondary Humanities and History across Years 7-12.
• Demonstrated experience teaching QCE Senior Ancient History.
• Strong knowledge of QCAA Senior Syllabus requirements, including curriculum planning, assessment design, quality assurance processes and external assessment preparation.
• Experience with QCAA endorsement, confirmation and internal review processes.
