Job summary

Christway College Wyndham invites applications for a Secondary English Teacher commencing January 2027. The role offers either part-time or full-time employment with FTE negotiable and a pro rata salary between $80,000 and $120,000 depending on experience.

CCW provides a faith-centred learning community with around 520 students and Year 11 planned for 2027. Staff are expected to uphold the College’s Christian ethos and contribute to extra-curricular life.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified teacher holding current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning data and use this data to inform teaching.
• Willingness to grow and develop as a teacher through reflection and feedback.
• Excellent written, presentation, teaching, organisational and communication skills.
• Willingness to work collaboratively and contribute to the Christian ethos and community, including extra-curricular activities.

Secondary English Teacher Position, 2027

Christway College Wyndham is currently seeking applicants for a Secondary English Teacher position, commencing January 2027.

This position is ongoing, part-time or full-time, FTE negotiable.

Salary scale: $80,000-$120,000 (pro rata) depending on qualifications and experience.

• Be a qualified teacher holding current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT), and with an expertise and passion to teach in this specialist subject area.
• The ability to monitor and assess student learning data and to use this data to inform teaching for improved student learning.
• A willingness to grow and develop as a teacher through reflection on their practice, taking on feedback and seeking personal and professional learning opportunities.
• Excellent written, presentation, teaching, organisational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• A willingness to work collaboratively and contribute to the Christian ethos and Christian community of the College, including contributing to extra-curricular activities.
