Job summary

Chairo Christian School invites applications for a Secondary Teacher / Head of Teaching & Learning (Secondary) at our Pakenham campus, commencing January 2027 on an initial three-year POR. The role combines teaching with educational leadership responsibilities.

We seek an active Christian educator with TAL registration and a track record in leading teaching or staff development, able to foster Christ-centred learning and strong campus partnerships.

Qualifications

• Active Christian lifestyle and agreement with Chairo’s Statement of Faith.
• Experience in educational leadership or substantial experience as a teacher.
• Sound knowledge of current educational practices and teaching from a Christian worldview perspective.
• Ability to build strong partnering relationships and communication channels with all members of the campus community.

Responsibilities

• Lead educational leadership and mentor staff while fostering ongoing development.
• Assist the Principal (Pakenham) by ensuring the delivery of high-quality Christ-centred education for Years 7–12.
• Set a godly example in teaching practice, relationships and lifestyle.
