Job summary

AgriLabour invites applications for a Seasonal Table Grape Farm Hand in Mildura, VIC. This outdoor, hands-on role supports pre-harvest and harvest activities in a busy vineyard, requiring safety, reliability and the ability to work in varying weather. Approx. 40 hours per week over 4–5 months.

You will carry out tasks such as pruning, trellising, harvesting by hand, sorting fruit and maintaining clean work areas, all while meeting productivity and quality targets under supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in vineyard, orchard, farm or other agricultural work is highly regarded.
• Able to perform physical and repetitive outdoor tasks safely.
• Willing to work in varying weather conditions and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out rolling, vine training and general vineyard maintenance.
• Harvest grapes by hand using picking shears or snips as required.
• Sort and place grape bunches into collection bins or crates.

The Role

We are seeking experienced Seasonal Table Grape Farm Hand to join a busy grape vineyard in Mildura, VIC. Working within the agriculture industry, you will be part of a hands‑on outdoor team completing a range of pre‑harvest and harvest activities in a fast‑paced, physical environment.

Key Responsibilities

You will support day‑to‑day vineyard operations across both pre‑harvest preparation and grape harvesting. The role requires attention to detail, safe work practices and the ability to meet productivity and quality expectations.

• Carry out rolling, vine training and general vineyard maintenance
• Put vineyard covers on and take them off as required
• Undertake pruning, weeding, planting and trellising
• Complete general orchard and vineyard duties
• Clean work areas and equipment
• Harvest grapes by hand using picking shears or snips as required
• Sort and place grape bunches into collection bins or crates
• Handle fruit carefully to minimise damage and bruising
• Follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders
• Work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Meet required productivity and quality targets
• Pick grapes safely and efficiently in line with workplace requirements
• $33.05 per hour plus applicable penalty rates
• Approximately 4-5 months of seasonal work
• Approximately 40 hours per week
