Job summary

Blue Illusion Sydney Metro is seeking a Seasonal Casual Sales Assistant to deliver outstanding customer service in our boutique network across Sydney. You'll help with stock, online orders, and in-store styling while upholding brand standards.

This temporary role runs from October through January 31, 2026, with the potential to extend. You’ll thrive if you enjoy connecting with customers, delivering polished service, and working with a friendly team in a fashionable retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably fashion retail.
• Availability Oct 2025 to Jan 31, 2026 with potential extension.
• Willingness to work across weekdays, weekends and late-night trading.

Responsibilities

• Create exceptional customer experiences through personalised service and styling advice.
• Process deliveries and maintain an organised stockroom.
• Assist with online orders and click-and-collect experiences.
• Support visual merchandising to showcase brand standards.
• Build product knowledge to confidently assist customers.

About the Role

We're looking for a Seasonal Casual Sales Assistant to join our Sydney Metro boutiques during the busy peak trading season. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive team, helping to create exceptional customer experiences while contributing to the day-to-day success of the boutique. This seasonal opportunity will run from October through to the 31st of January 2026, with the potential to extend out the contact into the new year. You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy building genuine connections with customers, have a passion for delivering outstanding service, and take pride in maintaining a welcoming and beautifully presented retail environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting visual merchandising to showcase our collections and brand standards
• Building strong product knowledge to confidently assist customers

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for customer service and creating meaningful connections
• Previous retail, hospitality or customer-facing experience (fashion retail experience is highly regarded)
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Flexibility to work across weekdays, weekends and late-night trading during peak season
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
