Job summary

Australia Post is seeking Seasonal Mail & Parcel Sorters in Queensland. You will sort parcels for delivery at a facility, working during peak season from October to around Christmas. Roles offer an opportunity to join a iconic, inclusive team with training and growth prospects.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to lift up to 16kg regularly.
• Safety awareness when operating conveyors and loading devices.
• Able to work in a fast‑paced environment with routine checks.
• Able to handle parcels that may contain meat and/or alcohol products.

Responsibilities

• Sort parcels and mail manually and with machine assistance.
• Operate load‑shifting devices and conveyors in coordination with operations staff.
• Load and unload mail from bags, trays, containers, and cages.
• Use scanners to sort parcels for delivery.
