Australia Post is seeking Seasonal Forklift Drivers for Canberra. This hands-on role involves loading and unloading mail, sorting parcels, and operating equipment across processing lines.

Roles start around October/November and run through the Christmas period, with flexible shift options to cover early mornings and day/evening windows. You must hold a valid LF Forklift License and be able to lift up to 16 kg.

Qualifications

• Valid LF Forklift License
• Ability to lift up to 16 kg regularly
• Safety conscious and able to operate conveyors and lifting devices

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load/unload mail from bags, trays, containers and cages
• Sort parcels manually or with scanners across processing lines
• Work with processing equipment and lines to move mail efficiently
• Use load shifting equipment and pallets with operations staff to move mail within the facility
