Job summary

Tassal Group is seeking skilled Forklift Operators for the Mission Beach harvest season. Casual positions with rotating shifts, early mornings, and potential transfer to Proserpine after Christmas. You will move, pack and dispatch orders, while maintaining safety in a cold-storage environment.

Must hold a current Forklift Ticket with practical experience and be available for the Nov–Dec period. English communication and reliable transport are essential.

Qualifications

• Forklift ticket with practical experience required.
• Experience in cold food processing environment is a plus.
• Ability to communicate in English to standard safety and task instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, stack and organise palletised goods in warehouse and cold storage.
• Support despatch with picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and safe stock storage.
• Collaborate with processing staff to ensure smooth workflow between production and despatch.
• Follow WHS protocols and cold-chain requirements.
