The Berry General Store in Berry, NSW is hiring a Summer Chef for a busy cafe, retail store, and events season. You’ll take full run of service, manage the cafe menu through the week and support weekend events and functions when demand peaks.

We seek real cafe/restaurant experience, someone who thrives under pressure, is a reliable team player, and is available November to March/April, including weekends and public holidays. Staff discounts and a close-knit team await you this summer.

Responsibilities

• Run your section through busy cafe and event service.
• Nail our seasonal menu, consistently, every time.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness and stock control.
• Collaborate with head chef and kitchen team to keep service smooth when busy.
• Monitor waste and portions when volume is high.
