Job summary

Cartier in Sydney welcomes a Boutique Assistant to deliver exceptional client experiences in a luxury setting. You will support hospitality tasks, greet clients, and help manage flow while maintaining a pristine boutique environment.

The casual contract runs from September 2026 to March 2027, with potential for ongoing opportunities depending on vacancies. You will collaborate with Sales and Hospitality teams to ensure seamless service and memorable moments for every guest.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or service industries is required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and manage client flow by providing information about wait times and directing them to waiting areas.
• Ensure every client interaction is exceptional from entry to departure.
• Be the point of contact between Leaders on Duty, Sales Associates and Hospitality Team for seamless service.
• Assist Sales Associates with tasks during the sales process (gift wrapping, item personalization, care duties).
• Maintain the boutique floor and back-of-house areas in pristine condition; support opening/closing tasks.

This is a casual position from September 2026 to March 2027. Demonstrating a strong performance during this period may lead to further opportunities with the Maison depending on vacancies at that time.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

As a Boutique Assistant, you will champion our commitment to excellence and elevate our focus on delivering unparalleled client experience as part of the Chez Cartier Signature Gestures.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure every client interaction is exceptional, from the moment they enter the boutique to their departure, leaving a lasting positive impression.
• Welcome all clients and manage client flow by providing information about wait times, directing clients to appropriate waiting areas, and ensuring they are attended to by a member of the Sales or Hospitality Team.
• Be the point of contact between the Leader on Duty, Sales Associates and the Hospitality Team to ensure seamless client service.

Surprise & Seal

• Assist Sales Associates with various tasks during the sales process, including gift wrapping, personalization of items, and care service duties which may include bringing pieces to the floor, cleaning, and polishing.

Boutique Environment & Operations

• Always maintain the boutique floor in pristine condition, ensuring a clean, neat, and welcoming environment. This will include the upkeep of each Point of Sale, Back of House areas and ensuring all sales & hospitality supplies are adequate for day-to-day operations.
• Support opening and closing tasks of the Boutique and as directed by the Boutique Management.
