Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel Australia is seeking a Sea Logistics Operational Care Supervisor, VAS, to lead export operations and drive excellence across the team. You will manage carrier relationships, support customer care, and push continuous improvements to deliver reliable, cost-effective service for important shipments.

Role focuses on balancing efficiency with service quality, supporting growth of sea logistics operations and alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in freight forwarding and supply chain management, preferably Sea Logistics.
• Familiarity with logistics systems, processes and carrier relationships.
• Commercial awareness and ability to interpret financial performance.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement across teams.
• Structured planning and multi-priority management in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence and high-quality shipment management for exports.
• Strengthen partnerships with Customer Care and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain carrier relationships and support effective shipment execution.
• Improve productivity and service delivery across the business.
• Monitor KPI performance and support profitability targets.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows.
• Assist in resolving customer claims with reliable service.
