Job summary

Fetch Recruitment is hiring Plant Operators for long-term civil construction work across Metropolitan & Regional Melbourne. Immediate starts available as projects advance, with roles including Scraper Operator (CAT 651).

On-site work with training offered for the right candidates. Eligibility includes a current driver’s licence and the ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening; RIIs are preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a current driver’s licence.
• RIIs for relevant machinery are preferred but not essential.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in mining or civil operations.
• Must be able to pass Drug & Alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate Scraper / Dozer / Compactor as required, including Scraper Operator (CAT 651).
• On-site work across metropolitan and regional Melbourne sites.
• Ensure safety and site compliance during operations.

Job description

Fetch are currently hiring Plant Operators for long term, ongoing Civil Construction work in multiple areas of Metropolitan & Regional Melbourne. Due to our clients winning several new stages of projects, there is an immediate need for people to start ASAP. Projects range from new Subdivision development to road construction, pipelines, quarries, landscaping & more.

What you will be doing

We’re seeking experienced Operators with experience in Scraper / Dozer / Compactor for the following roles:

• Scraper Operator (CAT 651)

We are happy to spend time training the right people. VOC's can be arrange on site so no ticket neccessary

What you will need

• Current Driver’s Licence
• RIIs for relevant machinery (preferable but not essential)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in mining or civil operations
• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening

The pay and benefits

• $42 – 45 p/h – rate will depend on experience
• $22.41 p/d travel allowance
• $19.74 p/d meal allowance **applicable after 9.5 hours worked
• Penalty rates for all overtime worked – UP TO 20 HOURS A WEEK ON OFFER!!

• Long term, consistent work with same employer on the same job site
• Temp to perm opportunity – reviewed at 3 and 6 months
